This is how I recommend checking if shoes are fake:
[attachment=3874]
Unfortunately it is much easier to prove they are fake than they are genuine.... best bet is to only buy from reputable sources but that's not always practical huh.

I honestly don't think those are fake, even though it looks like they have the tiniest of heel clits.
If the seller did indeed buy them where she claims and can provide a receipt from the store I'd say you're home safe

100% sure they are fake.
The shoe is 20% lighter,
Shoes are the same size and the same series for closest representation.
and the lace jewels are very different,
fake is on the left with a brighter gold on both sides, checked 4 sets from different real supes all the backs have a dull grey finish.

Hmm, that's a bit worrying, especially if they were bought were she says they were.
Do you have a link to the auction?

hmm, the lining do look wrinkly on the auction pic, but other than that there's not much to go on.
Given the new evidence I think I'll have to take back my statement about them being legit, but it still puzzles me that the seller claims to have bought them at a national US retail store and has a receipt. If it's true (which it probably is) then there's something completly wrong somewhere.

whats this US retailer they keep going on about?
and if they turn around and say shell-toes I'm gonna piss myself laughing

Technically a market-stall could be a retail store. Or some sort of dodgy clearance place. Or they're talking out their fucking arse.

My first time seeing this thread.
What's the over under on the production of such a fake vis a vis the original?
I mean, if they somehow manage to remove the clits on fakes like these, how would you even be able to make out genuine from bogus, except for where you bought it from?
