No worries i can reconise the guys talent and hell i don't think i'd of been a dancer if it wasn't for someone like him being in the world.I've been to his other concerts and its always been awesome and i like the guys music.
Sure his life and how he leads it doesn't bare thinking about but he was found not guilty and they went after him to nail him so if there was major evidence that he did them things he'd of been found guilty but the actual family involved in the last case was dodgey as fook.The jordy chandler thing is a different kettle of fish but only he and jackson know the truth with that one but for now he'a not guilty in the courts eyes so he's not guilty in mine either but he's a wierd fooka ill give u that

I dunno, Seems to me that if you have enough dollar you can pretty much pay your way outta trouble. Look at OJ SImpson's murder trial, what a farce.
I just feel a great sense of pity whenever I see Michael Jackson. The poor bastard never stood a chance of being 'normal' did he really?

The whole jackson clan is messed up tbh. One of his brothers married another brother's ex-wife and the three of them live together with kids from both marriages or something.
I don't think Michael is the exception, I think all his siblings had a shitty childhood that effected them badly. It doesn't justify his actions but it explains them and like shellshock, I pity him more than anything

The 2nd case went right to the wire and money had nothing to do with the outcome. The law was changed to make sure he couldn't buy his way out.
With the first case, i'm still not convinced. Reason being simply this. I'm a dad! If someone messed with one of my kids there is no amount of money on this planet that would stop me from seeing them go to trail.
They took the money!!!! I think that says more about the Chandler family than it does about Michael Jackson. (Although it didn't really help him because it has left a question mark over the case)
Plus with OJ Simpson if it wasn't for dodgy cops tampering with evidence to try and secure a conviction that might have ended differently. Remember 'the glove didn't fit'!

dregz - if michael jackson was just an ordinary man who lived down the street, I guarantee they wouldn't have let their kid play with him. The fact Jackson is a rich celebrity probably played a lot into their decision to let their child play with a middle-aged man. If he wasn't rich then there's no way they'd let their kid near him, because they didn't see any benefit to it (for them or their kid).

Don't get me wrong i could never excuse his behaviour at all. A grown man playing around with kids and having sleep overs and all that isn't right, regardless of how unusual their upbringing might have been, but any parent who lets that type of thing go on isn't thinking about the welfare of their kid. I don't care who you are, if a grown fella asks to play around with my kids he better have quick reflexes cos i'm swinging for him.
If he was your average man from down the road the neighbours would have had child services on his arse time ago, or paid him a little visit with a posse and the afore mentioned pitchforks.

Right - but you were saying that the family taking the money shows what sort of people they were. I was just saying the fact they let the kid play with him in the first place shows what sorta people they are.

Yeah i didn't dispute that point, i agree with you. The decision to take the money isn't the only action that tells us something about the family. I just focused on the eventual outcome of the 1st trail, and not what went on before hand, of course it was a suspect situation from the start from both him and the family.
The point i was making is that people look at that outcome and judge MJ on it but don't judge the family. it has been said he bought his way out, and that he must have been guilty to pay the family off. I'm just looking at that argument from the flipside and focussing on the decisions of the family at that point in the trail. Like i said if it were my kid and it were a genuine case, I wouldn't take any amount of money, I'd want to see the man punished for what he did and stop it from possibly happening to other children.
