Yep good work Tiff for sure but hey what was the deal here? and once again we love Tiff at EMS so this isn't directed at him just the general policy. (And if it was a road trip and not just one store well it's all good then)

Was this shoe limited to 1200-1300 plus pairs in North America? If that is the case what was this stores policy? And I'm assuming Tiff got his stuff on the day of the release. Did the day go something like this?

The store in question maybe hires a "Town Crier" shouting to the awaiting crowd "Roll up roll up today we have a very special limited release , once in a lifetime offer for all you good up standing god fearing North American folk"

On entering the said store the sales assistants approaches "Good morning madam/sir can i interest you in our special Run DMC offer today you can buy as many of the Run DMC shoes as you can safely carry but please don't tell anyone "

Now the shocked 're-seller' is confused at this point .

RE-SELLER " Did I hear you say I can buy as many as I want ?"
STORE ASSISTANT "Yes sir that's correct"

At this point shocked re-seller leaves the store empty handed as foolishly he/she only had enough money for 1 pair and had spent a fortune paying friends and family to queue to buy the other bits of gold dust.

No way I must be dreaming this nonsense could never happen in real life. Get a grip errol.

I think Tif said 2 pairs per person from the store he got them from...Which was the adidas orginals store in Soho in Nyc.
1986 pairs in total..I presume the OG store got the majority of them with the rest going to whichever exclusive stores were able to order then dotted around the US

Outside of Nick Kicks in Austin, Texas, and maybe one other store, the rest seem to be NY based I.e. Packers which is in New Jersey, and of course the O store and maybe Dr Jays...did these ever go online at shopadidas?

Me and Olskool checked adidas.com for like 2hrs and they never showed so i dunno but they wasn't online at 11/11/11 11am or 9am or even 12 noon..

Maybe they never made it online but adidas just posted up that msg due to no doubt getting badgered about them??

Any1 get a pair via internet then we'd know or actually saw them listed??
