Winning a pair of Japan-only weaves, stated as '
mint-condition' and ending up with these:
The seller doesn't want to give me a refund because when I expect new shoes I should have gone and buy them in a store.....
If these are mint then I am the queen of England.

Pretty fucking far from mint if you ask me! Just take it to the ebay and sort it out.

Bad news Rob I hope you get it resolved. I was watching them I think. The picture was misleading to say the least.

Squeaky - 02-11-10
Yeah, there was only one pic but from that you couldn't tell the shoes' condition. I trusted on the seller's description. Last time I did that.

Here a quote from the seller after I complained about the terrible state they are in:
Quote:In my considerable experience with trainers, as soon as you've worn them once, they don't look new anymore, simple. These are a used item, hence there will be some general wear, otherwise they are in 'mint' condition. If you expected new trainers you should have got your money out and bought some from a shop, only to get these it would have cost you a flight to tokyo as well. You won't be getting a refund.
Good thing you guys can't smell them...

That reply is unbelievable Robert. What a complete knobhead.
I think you will be getting a refund mate. It's that sort of bellend that ruins ebay.
