Gotta hand it to you Mr Pure. Most cats i know would have written it off as a serious stroke of shitty luck, sat around and moped about their loss for ever more. Sounds like you put some serious dedication into getting it back man. Good 1.
I see what your saying about selling it. Sign of the times, you never can tell how these fools are gonna react these days. Real shame.

Nice one P.
Got all hyped up at training tonight, couldn't fall asleep last night I was so excited to get back to it after a week off, travel 3 hours and £15 later and find a notice on the door saying it's closed for the week. Not fun
Did meet up with an friend I hadn't talked to in a while though so not all bad

When I was in high school my parents decided to remodel their house.
They added a second story, brought the front of the house out by 20+ feet and doubled the square footage. I swore I'd never pour concrete again and this is a big reason I wear a suit to work every day. Manual labor sucks ass.
But my Dad recently decided to tear down his old garage or "Car Hole" (anyone get the reference?) and build a new one. In true "Dad" fashion, he decided not to bring a truck in to pour the slab, but to do it himself. I can't have him do it himself (he's 65) so I volunteered my Saturdays for the next several weeks to help him build it.
We mixed and poured the main sections of the slab this weekend, 6 yards.. each batch was 2 wheelbarrels full. We'll do the rest the next two weekends.
I fuckin hate concrete.
Before we poured, built the forms.
4 main corners poured and floated

lol feel sorry for you man
I had to do about 2m square when we relocated the laundry for the studio, and that was a ballbreaker in itself
I'd be hating to do a whole garage foundation, poor bastard

Looking good though king, imagine the poor fookers that built the hoover dam, now that was a LOT of concrete, amazing bit of engineering but man that was hard work!

I would have buried an old pair of superstars in the concrete in honour of erm...a new garage...working with the old man? About 15 years ago I buried a pair of my old trainers in the ground/old fish pond when my parents were completing a new extension, they weren't shell toes (converse I think) but they've since move out but I'm sure they're still there.
fc is a bit odd
