Smalling is injured, along with a few other new/young guys that would surely have been in the squad. Good to see Oxlade-Chamberlain there, this time last year I was watching him seal our promotion from League One to the Championship!

Only if he actually plays Tom...Probo end up like Walcott when he went to the World cup..just sits on the bench and doesn't get used!!Pointless taking the lad if that happens but he is promising lets hope he gets a chance.
I see KING kenny is no longer!!!Such a shame he was doing so well at keeping them away from that top 4

Wish Euro 2012 was already over, I can't wait for the new season to begin. A friday without MVV Maastricht is a waste of time...

The EPL this season was probably the best season ever...it'll take some topping!!right down to the last day for the title and for 3rd/4th and the relegation battle.
As for the last day well...Unbelievable doesn't even come close!!
Unfortunately it looks like yrs and yrs of Man city dominance with no1 getting even close in seasons to come...

arguably the best day of EPL ever was the last day of the season. For those few seconds I couldnt believe our luck when we were about to win our 20th title, then effin Aguero!!!!!
Ah well at least I won my work league!

Adam Johnson and Micah Richards should definitely have been in the squad, why take Barry and Parker, it should have been one or the other, but not to worry apparently Henderson is on standby WTF!
I don't rate Crouch one bit, a foot smaller and he wouldn't even be a footballer but he does have a good international record and has managed to score goals in a crappy stoke team that doesn't create much, Carroll has been utter shit his whole career bar 6 months at the toon, shouldn't be anywhere near the England team, Crouch is a much better call. Wasn't Adebayor Spurs top striker?? Defoe for me has never looked good enough on the international stage.
Gerrard has been injured most of the season and has never reproduced his liverpool form for England, the same can be said for Rooney, hardly ever scores against the better countries. and is going to be missing the first 2 games.
It's unfortunate some other younger stars are injured but why go back to the ageing ones that have proved time and time again that they aren't good enough to win a major tournament, take a gamble FFS, the timing was perfect nobody is expecting anything from the Euros.
Shame about king doglish he was doing a top job wasting Liverpools money and making them generally shite
P.S why has the PL suddenly become the EPL

Ade and Defoe where joint top scorers i believe on 18 goals each....Tbh Harry ain't given him a look in all season..
As for EPL well ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE innit...PL could stand for the Spainish primiera league or whoever its spelt...

I had my TV in split-screen/PIP mode watching both matches at the same time. It truly was one of the greatest things I had ever seen in sports!! City fans crying. United fans dancing. Then City fans kind of cheering at 2-2. United fans still kind of dancing. Then City fans in absolute pandemonium. United fans crying. It was amazing!!!

So at my house, I get Fox Soccer Channel which shows EPL matches. Can one or more you gents tell me how fans are separated from each other at EPL matches? At each match, there's usually one section or two or three set aside for fans of the visiting team and of course separated by no less than 500 brightly orange clothed Event Staff
to keep things calm. But do fans of the visiting team HAVE to sit in those designated areas or can they sit wherever they want to sit? When buying tickets to matches, does the purchaser have to say they are a fan of the home team or visiting team? Other than maybe college and local high school sporting events, our sporting events here in the USA have people sitting everywhere. Yankees fans sitting right next to Orioles fans (for you Tif!!!). Just curious as to how this works. Will be good to know when that one day comes for me to visit England and attend a live EPL match. One of these days I hope to make that dream come true!! Thanks
