Greetings!
Welcome, been to Japan before, took me ages to find the Tokyo Originals shop, bit of an anticlimax, but enjoy the site, don't worry about which ones you like.
It ain't a race, you like the best kicks anyway!

Hello and welcome. Are you fluent in Japanese? Was it hard to learn?
I've always wanted to go to Japan too, I just never seem to be able to rake up the cash!

Japanese has three alphabets/scripts.
I scratched the surface with one (katakana) and that was hard enough.
fc used vending machines a lot

Pure, the college where I was taught Japansese at would not let me speak any English from the moment I walked through the door.
Came in handy when I started dating one of my teachers though.
fc was single then

Minty - lived here for 5 years so far. No plans to leave at the moment.
Samo - I'd never say I'm fluent in any language except English. There's always new things to learn. I'm not bad though.
flyingcod - Yeah, Japanese has three alphabets/scripts, but every language has stuff that's difficult. There's lots of stuff in English that is completely illogical and sends foreigners learning English round the bend. I don't think any language is any harder than another (if you're trying to learn it well).
pokey27 - that's (traditional) Chinese mate. Some of the characters are also used in Japanese. Back to flyingcod's point about Japanese having 3 character sets, it's an advantage vs. Chinese cos you can write things phonetically in Japanese (for example companies/products/people's names). But in Chinese it's all kanji characters, so, for example when you watch Man U on Chinese TV someone somewhere has had to decide what characters to use to represent "Manchester United". Whereas in Japanese they just spell out "Manchester United" by sounds. Does that make sense?
P.S. How much to SS Bronx usually edition go for?
