If buying them in the wrong size just to complete a collection or wishlist worked I'd have had a pair of 35th unions years ago!!!.But alas 4yrs and counting
(crosses fingers for 2009)
But i gotta admit if i saw them in a uk8 i'd be bloody tempted

if its like a half size or size down that you can get away with wearing then maybe
but if its a blatant size difference then no way
I once considered buying a jacket that was a M thinking, yeah one day I'll fit into it (am an XL) but I know that'll never happen hahaha

That would be a big fat NO. Kind of defeats the purpose IMHO

Well it depends on the size difference for me, usually I wouldn't buy anything smaller than my size but most of the time i'm happy to go above my size by like 1 to 3 sizes.

We had a thread about this before but I can't find it for the life of me.
It's totally pointless and a bit bloody minded, you could end up taking a pair of trainers that you'll never wear that someone has been after for fuckin' years and would've rocked with a smile on their face !

I buys 'em to rock 'em! Buying ones that dont fit to complete a series seems a bit stupid to me...

My answer's no as well, BUT I think for many/most of us, we're of the 'plus .5-1.0 sz' school of thought....meaning we may cop if within a half/one full size over our true size...I admit I have a few pairs a full size up, but otherwise all my kicks are my true size...oddly enough I'm sorta an 'inbetweener', so most of my kicks are a half sz within eachother...esp when speaking of SS1s and SS2s and vins which we all know feel differently...

I will go half a size bigger, possibly a full size if it was something rare i really wanted, but then i don't like them too loose.
Anything you can't wear is a bit of a waste really.

Ask yourself this, would you bother to chase and then wine/dine a really fit girl if you knew there was absolutely no chance that you'd ever be able to throw on a sock and slip inside? Well it's the same with shoes, complete waste of everybody's time.
