http://www.superstardb.com/the-fake-ebay-seller-list-t-1645.html
it has been viewed over 4,000 times by people checking if a sellers name has been on it..
eBay would remove the ad straight away, as when i was advertising this very site when i first launched it i used an eBay ad, as i knew people looking for adidas superstars would find it
Went ok a few times, but they got wise to it and told me off...
They dont give a flying fuck about people selling fakes, as we have tried from day one to get through to them that people DO care, and DONT want fakes.. but they dont give a shit..
All they care, is that they earn shit loads of mulah every second through people listing items.
I think what would probably be better, is if people linked to the fake sellers list we have here, from their normal auctions that they list all the time..
if we get enough people doing it, i bet that would help
10 points for the thought tho pal
Having slept on it i've added to my idea and will post it later but it basically involves posting on ebay so its not gonna work but ill post it anyways so you can all have a look and maybe its something for the future if ebay get a conscious. As for listing a link whenever we advertise something for sale on ebay ill deffo post a link no worries on that front.ty olstar for the points and for your input.

Just a footnote to what we all hate on here.
www.sneakerfreaker.com has an interesting article with the Head of Security at N**e but he gives a great insight into how they can get fakes off our auction sites.
He states that 'its an offence to sell or offer to sell counterfeits' and the penalty is '$200 per item per trademark infringement', so go work it out!
If one of our fake sellers has for sale 100 pairs, each has 5 or 6 logos or unique points of copyright, thats $1200 (700GBP) per shoe! if they have full size runs, they will sue on each shoe!!!!
So it is OUR responsibilty to report this to ebay! Fuck the fakers!!!!

Is i worth trying to collaborate with other sites so that everyone could join in on the action against fakes?
the more people that complain, the more power we have?

I'll second that motion.

I think a well worded en masse email to ebay could have the desired effect. I am a person that has written some pieces for magazines as a previous journalism student and I could put the feelers out and see if one of the larger magazines, sites would take on a piece!
get some anger generated!!! any experiences you would like included, let me know!!
