Collecting shoes is more of a lifestyle then a hobby, some people collect certain things as a hobby with the hope of turning a profit. If you are collecting and you don't want to pop your tags yet because you want them to stay fresh out the box then thats up too you. But if you are looking to make money you should invest your money into real estate, stocks, bonds, etc. If money is no object to you in your lifestyle find what you like. I have dropped thousands on finding shoes that I liked and popped the tagged to realize they are what I love.

Sold them for less than what I paid for them as they had been worn.
There is a difference.

You're not winning any prizes in here, Pokey.
You've admitted to being a reseller, you don't wear the Superstars you do have but expect us to tell you about the most sought after pairs, so you can buy them for yourself and stop someone who would love and wear them from owning them and you can't be arsed to search for, or generally find out, anything for yourself.
Built any bridges lately ? Cos you've just about burnt 'em all in here !

IMO the whole 'collecting for profit thing' isn't worth gambling on, especially when it comes to sneakers. Sure, there's a few pairs that you can be almost certain will gain value over the years, but you'll never know for sure. Just take the 35th top secrets, people paid through the nose for these when they first hit eBay and they were sure these would only keep raising in value and now, 2 years later, they sell for half of what people paid then, that is if they sell at all. Still a might fine pair of Soups though...
And even if you were sure to profit $200-300 on a pair of sneakers (which you can't be) would it be worth keeping them in a box for 5 years or more if you really just want to rock them? That amount of money will most likely not make a huge difference in your life anyway and you could just a well risk the price dropping or that they fall apart because they weren't stored properly. It's impossible to predict what will be worth more 5-10 years from now, if it was easy everyone would do it...

OK lets address this reseller issue.Firstly you've given me attitude since my very 1st post!!secondly imagine this MR PURE your daughter is diagnosed with cancer and all she ever wanted to do is to go to disney land!!.Now do you sell afew pairs of your collection or keep them and take her to euro disney instead???.Kinda different when i put it like that isn't it!!!.
And lastly i do wear many pairs of my kicks!!just the rarest ones i keeped boxed and unworn and thats mainly down to me not having the balls to shove em on me feet not how much i payed for them.
I never asked this question to get idea's of what to buy and what not to buy i was just interested in what other collectors and adidas fans really wanted in there collection!! like (which 1 pair would u love to own etc etc)

Personally I'd go with Euro Disney, but that's just me. It's really not that bad, I've been there once and would go again if I had the chance...

Right, post is being closed.
ALL OF YOU stop gettin on at each other, life is too short to bitch, moan, and make enemies.
Reselling rare, sought after kicks is defying what we all do on this site..
If thats what you do pokey, then please dont keep asking us any more questions, as you wont get any more answers.
If you are a collector that resells a bit, then fair enough.. But like pure has said your not exactly doing yourself any favours.
Many of us have rare and expensive kicks, but as long as you dont drag your heels in the mud, and clean after every use.. they aint gonna fall apart are they?
I wore my 3M underworlds to walk round london in at the SSDB meet..
They got mucky, i cleaned them, they are now fine for a few months till i wear them again.
Please respect the fact we are hard core collectors, and please live by our rules, and respect our hobby.
