Very tasty and easy on the eyes colourway. Looks closer to bordeaux than dark brown as the seller describes it.

I think it's just the way his camera has taken the photo.
Far as I know these only came in black, blue, brown and green.

Yeah different cameras and certain lighting conditions can cause huge variations in colours. I've noticed the colour changing seems to be very common with laces as many of my laces look very different in the pics than what they really are.
