Oh how my heart bleeds. As i sit here on my night shift in thermals two jumpers and a coat. Watching out of the window as my little car freezes over. Which means al have to stand and de frost it in the morning and with no air con takes a life time to do. This then means i get stuck in the rush hour traffic. 39. Degrees please !

Well nice and crispy today. -16C ATM. Good thing is that you can wear what ever supes as there is nothing that could make stains in my shoes

Grimmy - 16-12-09
Oh yeah us Scandinavians do get the proper weather treatments.
Only -15C here which is as ez said, fine for wearing any supes as long as you don't need to walk 10 miles out there freezing your toes off.

-15C!
The UK would go into meltdown if the air temp went that low.
Not to mention how many people it would kill.

Grimmy - 16-12-09
That's nothing really. Just over the last few days the temp has gone beyond -30C in Lapland in the northern part of Finland. It used to be that cold here in the south too but haven't experienced such temps in years. The most I've witnessed myself while being in Lapland many winters ago, was -44C.
Overall having temps that low doesn't affect the everyday life here that much, we're used to it. Only trains and undergrounds/subways are occasionally affected, thanks to their brakes getting frozen and for people who have forgotten to put a timer for the heater in their car so getting the car started might be a bit trickier when below -30C.

I have never worn fancy shoes when it was shit cold, I thought the leather would crack.

Who said I was wearing my fancy shoes? I have many everyday beaters and non-leather pairs I can use instead of the more precious leathery ones. Besides supes are hardly my choice of footwear for extreme temperatures anyway. It's usually the faux leather that cracks in freezing cold, premium leather shouldn't do that but I don't feel like testing out all my better supes.

I might have misunderstood the "any supes" part.
