Couldn't believe it when I turned up and saw what was stacked up. All check out ( I was kind of expecting someone to piss on my fire!) Nearly bagged a pair of mint Adicolor W6 New York City's aswell but he couldn't part with them so bagged first dibs should he change his mind.
I picked up 3 pairs of Supes and a pair of Beckenbauer Allround in White/Stone Leather. ( I won't put that pic up on this side of the board
All for nowt

It's been a great week. He has loads of trainers as was a sneaker freak a few years back so kept them all boxed. He had the Underworld's and Captain Tsubasa's which he wouldn't get rid off but I rek I'm on for the W6's

Eh?
Don't know what this means in Oz, but we're not too fond of that word over here!!! (Well I'm not anyway)

I'm afraid to say it kind of means the same thing.
It's a term for the Aboriginal people I think.

That's a top result indeed, Tony!
Never heard of the word wog before, but in Australia it means something else than in the UK, as you can see
here . Google and wikipedia, my best friends to keep me going on an English board
.
Edit: Ah fuck it, I only read the first bit from the Australia piece, nowadays it means the same indeed. Thought that I was helpfull for once in my life, but I'm not...

P: wog has absolutely no reference ti aboriginals. It's what they called western Europeans here. Started off being a very offensive word when my parents cane here in the 60's but now no one takes it as offense. People almost use it with pride
(ref best Australian movie: "the wog boy") lol

I don't think it should be used again on here.

It's a strange one Nik. You say it's used with pride.
Sad to say that a lot of black people use the dreaded 'N' word with a strange type of pride. Still doesn't make it a good or acceptable word.

One of the main aspects of Australia that stayed with me was (and I'm sorry to say this) the quite staggering amount of what appears to be throwaway and casual racism that is apparent on a daily basis and occasionally bubbles up into big trouble.
I'm not casting aspersions on any of our Australian members here at all so please don't take offence.
Just my experience.

I am.
You're all racist fuck nuggets.
Now, can we get back to talking about trainers please ?
Anybody using terms like nigger, wog, paki, kaffa, slope,
or gook faces a certain warning and possible bannage if I haven't gotten my rocks off that week.
The terms yid, wop and homo will however be tolerated.
Thank you and good day.

That's right dregz. We label ourselves that now. I take it has a very different meaning Over there given cracky's response.
But wog is not used in any sort of derogatory way anymore with us. I mean my parents had to put up with that bullshit from the Aussies everyday when they migrated as children but things have changed since then.
I'm sure steve calls himself a wog, I do and I'm proud of it but don't confuse what I say with the meaning you have cos clearly they are at opposite ends of the spectrum.
I don't really see much racism. We are probably the most multicultural country and the only experience with racism I've had was when some old bitch called me a "fuking Muslim" which would have hurt if I was Muslim.
My mates and I always take the piss out of eachother racially and stereotypically.
Ok just saw ur post P after I made mine lol fair points let's leave it at that
