Likin' them Proshell STs and the greys with that funny upper sole are growing on me.
If we're the biggest buying market, then that makes the treatment we get with regard to [new good] stuff even worse.
The Americans seem to have any and everything and I think their adidas online site exemplifies the difference in regard to the two markets adidas themselves seem to hold.
It does piss me off that about 70% of my collection has to be ordered from America, tbh. I'm thinking: 'why is that not being sold here,' most of the time.
The amount of duty I've paid since I started with supe collecting could buy me 2-3 pairs more!

I'm not English tho but i know along with the English ones, many European Adidas shops suck in comparison to the US shops when it comes to the variety of available nice shoe models. Now if only the royal blue and scarlet SS PTs would become available in Europe. Unlikely it seems.
Even more ironic given that Adidas is a German company!

Yeah but Adidas is trying to gain market share from noike so it makes sense for them to give a wider choice over there.
Taken in the round though, through all the outlets and all the releases in a given year, we do alright over here, believe me.
You only have to look at the hoops the members from across the pond had to jump through to get the 3 Ways to know that.

I guess I only see the annoying parts of the equation because of all the customs I have to pay on a seemingly month-by-month basis for stuff I think we should have here in the first place.
It does go both ways, as you say, and things could definitely be worse as Grimmy and Steve just pointed out.
I'd just love for adidas to treat us with the same willingness to please as they have for the American market - they're a global company, how come they don't do global releases, for example?

Different markets and different perceived tastes in colours in the market as a whole.
We may not agree with it but as a nation we react differently to certain colours and shades than the americans or the asian market.
We're just familiar with what our american cousins get but the asians get a whole other set of Superstars to all of us.
Tis the way of the walk.

You're far too reasoned and rational with these things, P.
Can't really continue me rant now, can I?
