Hmm, might be worth a shot. Have you tried with any specific brands you'd recommend? To be honest I'm not even sure where I'd buy dye for laces? A hobby shop?

Lars I'd use dyelon it works great someone on here did the vin laces in black and I dyed some bedding with it a few months ago easy as pie. They have a big range of colors too.

Yeah Dylon is the main brand here but you need to use quite a lot of it to get a good finish. Maybe a max of 4 pairs per pack of dye. Give me a shout if you can't find any over there.

Cheers for the tip guys!
I did a quick check and it seems Dylon it's available in Denmark, but 200 g (one colour) cost around £8.50 – and it's supposed to be used in the washing machine along with some special salt. Is that how you guys used it to dye laces?

I'm sure I omeone on here just put some in a bowl of hot water and left them overnight but the washing machine should be fine. The salt is just normal table salt don't waste your money with there "special salt".

I dyed a pair black with a packet of dylon hand-wash, a couple of pounds for a packet and i only used a third of it.
http://www.dylon.co.uk/products/dyes/fabric-dye-for-hand-use/
I used an old stainless pan and regular table salt, put a glass bowl in to keep them submerged and left them for 24 hours. Ran them through the washing machine afterwards to prevent them bleeding.
Give me a shout if you can't get the small packets, I've got a local store that stocks most of the colours.
