Old Gregg - 02-02-11
How dare he
He was always injured at stoke, first two seasons at Forest was injured alot third season not too bad then was excellent in his final year when he was after a new team, pretty much the same at Derby, wasn't getting in the team at one point early on as he was so shite then been excellent this season whilst on the look out for his next big pay day, if ever there was a football mercenary its fat boy!

Beats me how chelski can reveal operating losses of £73million for this year then splash out £50mill on Torres and £20million on luiz...Even worse at manc city.
Spurs got the money to buy these players but with only a 36,000 seater stadium..(another 35,000 pay for the priviledge of sitting on the season ticket waiting list) and a wage cap of £80k a week just can't complete when the big rich boys are offer £150k a week upwards!!

You can only hope they get found out eventually Pokey once the benefactors get bored and fuck off, leaving them saddled with debt and an unsustainable wage bill. Not quite the same admittedly, but look what happened to Leeds. Living beyond their means.
Could be worse Carly, we could have stooped so slow as to sign El Hadj Diouf.
To quote something I read online (on a different subject entirely), "I'd call him a cunt but he doesn't have the depth or the warmth".

aka Sol Judas Campbell
Regarding living within there means..well it all changes next season doesn't...changes to i think clubs can only spend what revenue/income they have coming into the club..not any damn amount they want.
I know man city's wage bill per season is higher than the revenue coming into the club....so there always operating at a loss

We were linked with Campbell in Jan, after he turned us down in the summer. Thank fuck, as I watched a Newcastle game just before Christmas and he was a fucking liability. Despite having NO fit central defenders we still didn't go for him. Phew.

yeah but he's our 35M thug.
Lets hope Paul's mother can understand Forest fans, he's gone to team more suited to his technical (in)ability.

Did Mike Ashley not initially make his fortune selling overpriced tat to scousers.
I'm gutted that Carroll has left, he's got great potential as long as he doesn't go off the rails, it's just a shame that Ashley will blow the £35 million in Llambias's casino instead of investing it back in the club.

Well done Arsenal!
Real pleased for Wenger and his team, hope they can go on and win the tie but will be tough no doubt.

I'm still in heaven after last night.. As you know my team MVV Maastricht had to start this season with -8, so we had only one goal this season and that was not becoming 18th, which means relegation.
In the Netherlands the Eerste divisie (Championship) has 18 teams, which means 34 games a year. Next to the regular league table the season contains 4 periods of 8 matches (1/8, 9/16, 17/24 and 25/32) and the winners of those periods are automatically ensured from the play offs at the end of the season.
Last night MVV Maastricht has won the 3th period after a great run of 6 victories, 1 defeat and 1 draw, so you can imagine the party that followed the 0-0 draw last night, unbelievable. On the way back from Eindhoven to Maastricht there were cars with red and white MVV scarves and flags everywhere, fucking great!!
What a perfect night it was!!!
