if you look back in this thread I think P said baby powder or something helps get rid of leather squeeks
I got a couple of pairs with sole squeeks from where I think the rubbers come loose from the inner sole, thats annoying as hell! I usually wear those shoes out to the soccer or clubbing, somewhere I know its gonna be loud and the squeek cant be heard lol
oh and I got a pair of Conductor Hi's that make a "whistle/blowing" kinda noise from the toebox breathing holes, thats annoying as hell and I gotta sit down and try fix that

I heard that if you rub vasceline on leather as soon as it comes out of the washing machine it keeps the leather from going stiff and creasing, Anyone ever tried this?

none of us put our shoes in the washing machine.... well..most of us dont, and those who do are a bit crazy!

I never wash them anymore in the washing machine because the leather used to go stiff and crease easily when it dried and the paint used to wear off.
But when i wash my race pants they have leather patches on and they used to go stiff when they had dried and they would crease and end up tearing when i wore them but now i rub vasceline on them as soon as they come out the wash and now they stay soft after they dry

Just got my new jeans from tailor/sewer. I asked her to make these to prevent denim bleed. I hope it helps.

Anyone of you RHCP owners sprayed something on them? There is a shitty weather today (again) but I would like to wear them later today. All protection is welcome. Any tips?

I'm not to sure if this works all the time, but when my suedes became dark i used a eraser that you can buy from timberland, it also comes witha nylon brush. I also remember looking at some websites online saying that pencil erasers might also work. worth a shot.

Anyone know how to stop the tongues twisting sideways? Real problem with some of the thinner tongued pairs (pro mods, SS1 and 80s). Even got the laces through the slot halfway down the tongue to try and stop it to no avail.
