A trip to the doc's would certainly wouldn't be a bad idea...

Yeah, don't walk. RUN!
And good luck, Dregz. Fingers crossed it's just stupid regular flue.

Hope it's just flu Dregz mate, did you not take a course of Malaria pills before you left for Africa?
RE: So.. Go on, spill it.. what you been doing? -

Fingers crossed for you Dregz mate!

Yeah i did the whole malaria tablet thing and i was quite regimental in taking em.
I'm not really the type to panic bout tings like this so i'm convincing myself that it's all good and i'll see how i feel in the morning.
I can't vouch for how strict the photographer was in taking his tablets.
RE: So.. Go on, spill it.. what you been doing? -
mr.pure - 20-10-09
If you took the tablets, don't worry about it.

That's sort of how i'm thinking P.
It's just bloody typical that the txt came through as i'm feeling a bit flued up!

Thanks stylz, niko, samo and dregz.
Hopefully it's just the common flu dregz.
Yeah, if i was feeling ill and people began to tell me it could be worse i'd get paranoid but if you've taken then tablet then yeah, should be all good.
Btw, what were you doing in Uganda?
Sorry if you've mentioned already...

niko join the club, I'm finally back at the gym after my 4 week break, and we've finally started up a new social basketball team, hopefully I'll be ready to play next week
I wanted to get into med but after getting my UMAT results it doesn't seem likely.
However, i'd be just as happy to do Biomedical Engineering. I'm aiming for at least a 96 ATAR (it's no longer called a UAI) because the ATAR requirements for the course last year at USyd was 95.55. Yet at UNSW it was 89.something. Still not sure which uni i want to go to though because UNSW is supposed to have a better engo faculty but it's a bit more inconvenient to get to and they only offer a masters.
Oh and news about my first exam... it was horrible... 'twas the same for most other people as well... well that's what they said. The questions were so closed so the notes and essay i prepared weren't quite spot on which was rather annoying... Okay, for paper 1 we had to do some short answer comprehension, a creative writing piece and an essay. Each task was expected to be completed within 40mins making the total length of the exam 2hrs.
For the creative writing i basically had to come up with something on the spot yet the stimulus they provided for us was so retarted (well i thought it was because the scenarios i had planned didn't suit it).
yeah, i'll end it there.

It doesn't look good for you in the English exam Funke.
Mostly cos you don't feel it went too good but also cos you can't spell retarded !

I went really well in office admin, art & photography in highschool, which were tafe subjects, art might not have been cant remember
I ended up moving back to Adelaide, bought a unit, became a real estate agent (property manager) for my mothers company, then once I had saved up enough dosh to buy camera equipment started doing photography on the side and now i just do the accounting and design side of the realestate and photography's the main bread winner for me

Love it.
Nice one Steve.
Good to hear the story of how someone's passion turns into the bread winner.

dregz - 21-10-09
That's what it's all about, mos definitely! Imagine that!
Here's my question, if everyone on here was able to turn there passion into their bread winner, what career would you be doing right now?
I of course would be a world famous emcee....or maybe i'd own Adidas..... or i'd possibly be a Hugh Hefner!
