Really nice Tif. I don't think that you will find any information about the production date. I'd say middle to end of 80s. Spitey has a pair from the beginning of the 80s where the shell is different to yours (to lame to look for the pics Wink )

Btw, I'd let the glue where it is. Adds that vintage touch Wink

I find they fit true to size D, maybe get away with half size down but def wouldn't be looking at 9's mate

Excellent, exceeeeeeeellent pick up Tiff and yeah they do look similar to Fritze's. I'd maybe question the laces on your yours but leave the glue alone mate as Bonovox says it adds charm.
