Yeah, it's pretty screwed up. I'd only met the guy a few times but my wife and a few of my close friends had worked with him for years and well, I know that people die and that's life but you never expect it in a front page news, absolutely senseless kind of way. It's just painful when people I care about are suffering.
And they're still looking for the bastards that did it.

What the hell? That's terrible. Take good care for your missus Lorrie - that's some serious stuff to deal with.

Saddened to hear that Lorrie, like pokey said I'd hoped the world had moved on from kind of neanderthal mentality.

Yeah that's awful Lorrie, hope they catch the sub-human scum that did it soon.

Lorrie thats f*cked up!
I watch a lot of COPS and The First 48 and you see some messed up sh*t on those shows, it still amazes me how some people can act and not seem to even care?

OK.. may as well spill it.
In the 'Wahoo' thread, I said I'd won what would have to be one of the best deals/auctions the site would've seen.
It was a pair of brand new NYC 35th's, which I won for... $0.06 yes, that's 4p..
But as I said in the other thread, I didn't think the guy would send 'em, and it's been 12 days since I won the auction.
It's really starting to piss me off that this guy won't enter into any kind of communication with me. I at least expected the common courtesy of a 'fuck off - you're not getting 'em' but instead, I'm getting complete silence.
I've threatened him with eBay, which will not do much, but at the very least, I need this geezer to give me back my postage money.
Yea, I knew it was too good to be true, but feck, it's still annoying!
EDIT: It will teach me not to read through a thread for the day or so I've missed; sorry to hear about that Lorrie.
The reason given makes it even more sickening.

Thats well shit Lorrie
kind of puts into perspective my anoyance of being told where to park for the first month when the students come back, yesterdays parking wanker even told me i was going to fast at about 3mph
RE: Things that make your blood boil -
Grimmy - 21-10-09
So you should remember from now on not to speed with insane 3mph around parking lots!

Losing an auction on ebay- here's why. I laid down a max bid o £5 on an item, was winning for days with a bid of £1.75, I go online to check I won it, only to see it was won by someone else with a bid of £2.10! WTF? How does that happen when my max bid was £5?!!

All a bit weird that.
Something similar has happened to me in the past though.
