I`m an old man of 37 living in Devon.
I`ve admired all sorts of trainers for years but living
down here never managed to get anything really
different.
Been into graf & hip hop since i was 10.
Did the concert thing for a few years back in 87-90ish.
LL Cool J,Run Dmc,Whodini,Public Enemy,Davey D,
Beastie Boys,Derek B ,DJ Scratch & various others
were veiwed in this time.
I`m now roof tiling for a living & doing a part time job
in a pub at nights to make ends meet.
I have 100 pairs of various trainers in my collection,
but am going to sell some off to help support my
superstar addiction.
Good to see so many like minded people

my name is chris i work for ministry of sound radio , i present a mash up show on there breakfast show on thursday mornings under the guise of "dvda productions" i also dj around the uk under the name "dj pencil" djing uk garage to the uninterested and students (although i dont do that much any more)

im 35 this year , live with my fiance of 3 years , into adidas in a big way , just got myself the materials of the world japan track jacket in selvedge denim and kimono silk lining mmmmmmmm nice , dont really know what else to put on here

Derek B (w/Dj Scratch) used to warm up for Public Enemy and Run DMC. I remember seeing all 3 acts at a concert in the 80s (even though I never rated PE) so RUN DMC was definitely the shizzle of them all...
I also remember buying a poster at said concert with a big pic of Run DMC and all 3 names written on it, well sort of, as the poster originally said 'ERIC B', but the cnut who sold it had cleverly corrected it to 'DERIC B' with a black marker - well done!!!

We actually went to see PE but DJ Scratch was as said a warm up
act.
HOLY FCUK he was amazing ,i think it was the year he won the
DMC ?
Best dj i ever saw was Grandmaster D from Whodini ,kin unreal.
Saw Son of Noise as well,very good live.
Saw DJ Firstrate ,who i thought was ok.
Missed the infamous EPMD /Hijack concert though,damn shame
