Gotta say most of us on here are about WEARING the Supes/kicks we pick up, not hiding them away and hoping to make a buck on them later.

Storing in the hope of reselling for profit at a later date is a primary cause of swine flu. In that by doing so you're obviously swine.

I wear ALL mine, these I won't for 2 reasons......
1. Although they are a size 11 I got them home and they are tight as fuck and feel more like a 9!!! They are really narrow at the base of the toe.
2. I only wear supes, seriously. I don't have a single pair of other trainers and haven't had for some time.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I see many people on here selling kicks at a price I'm CERTAIN they didn't pay for them. In the past on here I made Superstar 1 pick-ups at £15 and went to get another pair at the request of a forum member only to find they had sold out for him. There was gonna be no mark up involved so I really don't fit into the category you think I do.

What you're talking about is reselling.
You bought an item you had no intention of wearing at a knock down price with the sole intention of selling it at a later date for a profit.
Whereas the possible end user of that shoe might have walked into that store and picked them up for cheaps.
It's a Karma thing !
You might see people on here posting prices that they want for certain shoes because any old lurker might buy 'em.
But myself and many others have moved on shoes for no profit at all to regular, stand up members.

^^^ Damn right, any pairs I've sold on have been at a loss, and purely because they didn't fit me (my enthusiasm in the early days meant I bought a couple of pairs that were just a tad boat-like on me) or I felt I could let them go as part of trade for a pair of Supes I'd much rather have.

Well he wont get a sound price for em cos none of us are gonna buy em!

You'd be surprised how common it is Das.
About 6 times I bought sample pairs in the hope that they'd fit but deep down knowing that they were never gonna fit me cos they're made in an 8.5 and I'm a 10.
But I'm better now.

Nah, I'm only talking a size 12, and I'm usually a 11/11.5. Were wearable but just a bit on the loose side so decided to part with them.

In that case I apologise, my post was obviously waaaay more offensive than a post showing a few pick ups should ought to have been.
Flame wars weren't what I was looking for.

Ive never been that tempted, shoes not worn is a cryin' shame to me, like paying for a "lady of the night" and not getting her to clean all me soops
but how deep down was this when you mentally stretch an 8.5 to a 10 Pure?
"Pure doesn't suppress rage, just shoes he wants in tiny weeny sizes"
EDIT: Sorry Cmanc but buying to sell on for a profit when we know someone one on here, who really wanted them, could have got em is a tad distressing.

I see your point but being naive I thought it was the way of the World (hence Ebay, auction houses etc). I bought them for £30. If they had fit it might have been different but as they don't fit, storing and selling is my only option.

Well it is the way of the world its just not most of us do things on here
but if they dont fit i wouldnt worry about it too much (just make sure they really dont fit first)

Dude, don't be an idiot. Ever heard of TRYING on a pair of shoes? It's pretty neat, next time you're in a store you should ask about it--I'm sure the associate will be more than happy to assist you.
Quote:2. I only wear supes, seriously. I don't have a single pair of other trainers and haven't had for some time.
Then why did you buy non-supes?
If you aren't looking to be flamed, then I suggest not blatantly lying and looking like a damn clown...that may help
On another note, great pickups to everyone with the 3-Ways, they are sweet looking!
