You miserable fuckers slagging off my rickety shelves has made me start looking for better alternatives now!
I may have to rob some of the steel shelving we have at work

I've got 3 ikea besta cabinets under my dresser for mine but its ended up being a failure because being a big foot I can only hold 6 pairs in each cabinet so half my shoes sit in their boxes on top of the wardrobe and I forget about wearing them

Gimp, have you thought about the IKEA LACK shelves. It may cost a bit more and there is more work to assemble but you could have something like this:

No problems with the Qing mings
To post pics you need to upload your pictures somewhere (I use photobucket.com)
Once you have done that you can copy and past the full URL between IMG-tags.
For example: [ img ]picture.jpg[ /img] But then without the spaces.

damn you small-average footers
I went into ikea the other week to see how my us13's would fit on the lack shelves
the small shelf... forget it, and the longer shelves the shoes have to be on that much of an angle to not hang over the shelf that I'd only fit a max of 3 pairs per shelf

That sucks Steve-o.
