A very nice set up fella.
How do you get on with the Pioneer CDJ's? Ive got the CDJ 500 but to be honest i dont really like it and only use it for looping beats that i wanna lay something over but ive never got my hands on the 1000's and ive heard they are a lot easier to use?

well the jog wheel is ages ahead on the cdj1000s. plus they have hot cue samplers and lots of nice nice features. i love them to bits
the cdj200 and 800s are nice alternatives as well. their new players can do a lot of things, even compared to their old players!!

Have you tried the Technics SL-DZ1200s - and if have, how are they compared to the Pioneers? I'm seriously considering buying the Technics, and I've heard good and bad things about both, so any info would be great.
Cheers!

i haven't tried the technics ones. but as far as i could read on the internet, most people suggest pioneer over the sldz. perhaps the sldz will suit you better, i suggest you try them both before buying. especially when the jog wheel is of great importance (i assume, since you spin hip-hop). the wheel is absolutely great for me and i love the feel of it. but again, make sure to try them before buying.

i might be able to help out with that so you got more money to spend on kicks
i know a spot that receives alot of goods and sometimes boxes get damaged during shipping so they cant be sold in stores (real nice discounts)
got two main brands for DJ : pioneer and shure
for cables theres neutrik, marinco, canare, digiflex
also got littlite (gooseneck lamps), raxsess (racks and workstations), k&m stands for microphones/speakers/lighting
list ends there for DJ stuff but it goes on for a while on consumer electronics (home theater equipment, car audio, professional lighting...)
got alot of guitar equipment too
mostly high end though, not for amatures
oh and you must buy a pair of superskates at the same time

1st of all i want to apologize for my bad English writing. It has been a while when i was in school.
My name is Pieter, i'm 35 years old and i live in a small Town named Enschede located at the eastern border of Holland.
I have Oldskool in my name because i'n addicted to to Oldskool House music. My 1st rave was in 1990 and still i can't stop going to the better party's we have in Holland.
My 1st Superstars i bought are only 2 months old. Air Max 1 and 90's where the sneakers i always walked in. Untill now. Never knew how much Superstars there were and i love the colorways of many of them.
I work in a tyre-factory.
http://www.vredestein.com I am responsible for the quality of all tyres my college's produce. My personal stamp goes inside each tyre after i think it's okay.
Also i'm a football fan.

Thats a pretty serious set up Mars. I've never really got on with cdj's, the ludite and the purest in me i guess. I just love vinyl too much. Anyway, I'm From Bath. Uk, But now live in melbourne, I sell booze for a living, which, in turn means i drink for a living. I was a little Bboy from about 82 when breaking blew up, windrunners, shells and states ( throw in Bmx, which i still do badly to this day) and thats where the foot fetish started. Then discovered Mdma and raves in 90, went to far too many parties dj'd at some. Met an aussie bird, married her and lived happily ever after. The end.

I have/had a dilemma Mr.P More trainers, loads of vinyl or 360. She's getting a bit tetchy regarding trainers, although my windrunner from Mr Shotta arrived yesterday couretsy of her. The vinyl would take to long. I need instant gratification so 360 wins out.
Paaaaaaaarty.
Gee

I'm thinking about selling mine to be perfectly honest.
Slice me through the centre and it would say "Graffiti, Superstars, Playstation."
Not forgetting "Hip Hop, House and Girls" of course.
