Maybe our trans-Atlantic cousins could pester (in a nice way) some of the US based online sneaker stores. SportieLA would be a good start as I'm still waiting for them to find a pair of SS 2's in Black/Clay, UK10.5 Sad

Come to think of it, we should all pester adidas UK/US head office and ask for some discount (or at least be consulted on new SS models) considering how many of their products we've all purchased and lovingly (sometimes Wink) cared for.
